These Terms govern your use of X3 CSA, a service of X3 Fleet Safety LLC ("X3," "we," "us"). By using this site or our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. What X3 CSA is
X3 CSA helps motor carriers understand and improve their FMCSA CSA (Compliance, Safety, Accountability) standing using publicly reported BASIC data and licensed carrier data. It is a compliance support tool, not legal advice, and X3 is not a law firm.
2. Not affiliated with FMCSA or USDOT
X3 is an independent private company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of FMCSA, USDOT, or any government agency. Official CSA records and the Safety Measurement System are maintained by FMCSA.
3. Data sources & accuracy
CSA and carrier data is sourced from FMCSA records and licensed third-party providers and may lag the official SMS, which updates periodically. FMCSA does not publicly report the Crash Indicator or Hazardous Materials BASIC percentiles, and X3 CSA does not display them. We strive for accuracy but do not warrant that any data is complete, current, or error-free. Verify critical information against official FMCSA sources before acting.
4. No guaranteed outcome
Improving a CSA score depends on factors outside our control, including FMCSA processes and your own operations. We do not guarantee any specific score change, audit result, or regulatory outcome.
5. Payment
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor. One-time reports are non-refundable once delivered. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; you may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use X3 CSA only for lawful purposes and only for carriers you are authorized to review. You will not scrape, resell, or redistribute data obtained through the service except as expressly permitted.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, X3 Fleet Safety LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for decisions made in reliance on the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior twelve months.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
